  1. #BeatPlasticPollution with Afroz Shah and his volunteers: Weekly beach cleanups take place at Versova beach, Dana Pani beach and theRiver Mithi. Efforts are also underway to build a circular economy with communities in Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

  2. Beach Warriors: Chinu Kwatra began clean up efforts in 2017 and this group of volunteers has been active in Dadar beach, Worli, Cuffe Parade, Juhu, Malad and Gorai.
  3. Beach Please: Started by 21-year old Malhar Kalambe, he received the volunteer for change award by the United Nations, India in 2019 for his work.

  4. Mahim Beach Cleanup: Started by Rabia Tewari and Indranil Sengupta in 2017, their efforts have been recognised by UN Environment.
  5. Jay Foundation: Jay Shringarpure started this clean up movement after going to Dadar beach for a walk with his 7-year old daughter and came by mounds of plastic waste. His efforts have been recognised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
